Natural Ecosystems Network invites Expressions of Interest submissions to Stakeholder Advisory Group.

NE Network Horizontal Header

The National Adaptation Network for Natural Ecosystems aims to support local decision-makers managing climate risks on Australia's natural environment. To balance participation and integrate a multiplicity of views into Network activities, the Network is developing a Stakeholder Advisory Group.

Who is invited to submit Expressions of Interest: management agencies, policy makers, NGOs, state/local government and any parties interested in climate adaptation in Australia.

The Stakeholder Advisory Group will guide the Network Steering Committee throughout the life of the program (2015-2017). In this Advisory role, representatives would on occassion be asked to:

  • Provide advice in their area of expertise
  • Provide comment as a stakeholder on many different aspects of the Network's activities, for example, the revised National Adaptation Research Plans (2016).

Please submit your Expressions of Interest to participate in the NCCARF Natural Ecosystems Network's Stakeholder Advisory Group by completing this form

Through these Advisory Groups we hope to balance the participation and influence of stakeholder groups into all Network activities. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions

About NCCARF

NCCARF

About NCCARF: The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (NCCARF) is an initiative of the Australian Federal Government that works to support decision makers throughout Australia as they prepare for and manage the risks of climate change and sea-level rise. NCCARF is based at Griffith University and is in its second phase of development. NCCARF has established new adaptation networks under a three year program (2014-17) to continue their national focus across Australia to build resilience to climate change in government, NGOs and the private sector.
